Born on a farm in Chippewa County, Wisconsin, January 27, 1894, Archibald M. Peisch began his education in 1899 at the local country school where one teacher taught eight grades. In 1915 he graduated from the University of Wisconsin majoring in Economics and immediately accepted a teaching position at the University of South Dakota. There, he met Josephine, (his wife of almost 70 years) who was also teaching there. |
